Whenever possible, Willamina SBHC staff support and promote parent or guardian involvement in a student’s health care. Clinic staff encourages parents/guardians to complete health history and consent forms. Staff also encourages parents/guardians to accompany their children to appointments. If parents are unable to come, we endeavor to inform parents by phone or letter of the details of the student’s visit to the clinic, when permissible by law.

SBHC services are private and confidential. A student’s medical record will not become a part of their school record. Only individuals directly involved with a student’s health care have access to this information.
